Terms and Conditions

Turnaround

  • Standard lead time is 10 business days. Turnaround time begins when all order information, artwork and your initial deposit is received. Turnaround time denotes time to ship date and does not include transit time.
  • Multiple designs or colorways, add-ons or complex art requirements may require additional time and will be specified at the beginning of the ordering process.
  • Rush fees will apply if you require the order in less than 10 business days. Rush must be specified at the time the order is placed.

Minimums

  • Most screen printed garments have a minimum of 12 pieces. Orders for less than 12 pieces will be billed as 12 pieces.
  • Complicated prints and process printing may require a minimum of 36 pieces as deemed necessary by Derisory Designs Inc.
  • Flat Stock printing has a minimum of 50 pieces.
  • Custom packaging has a minimum of 100 pieces unless otherwise specified.

Pre-Production Sample

  • Pre-Production Samples can be made for a fee of $75 per design. This must be paid in full before sample will be produced.
  • Any changes to the artwork not due to the fault of Derisory Designs Inc. will result in an additional $75 fee for another sample.
  • Changes to ink colors after viewing of the sample will not require an additional fee.
  • If design is approved and order proceeds, $50 of the $75 fee will be applied as a credit towards the final order, if the order does not proceed, the sample fee will not be refunded.

Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required before work can begin.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full, including any applicable shipping/delivery costs, once printing is completed and before shipping your order.
  • Any order that remains in house due to non-payment after 6 months will be canceled and the product discarded with no refund of the deposit.

Artwork

  • Artwork must be sized to the size of the final printed design. Artwork can be vectored or in a photoshop compatible file type at 300 dpi.
  • Please remember that final printed results can only be as good as the artwork we receive.
  • Spot colors must be specified by pantone numbers. If pantone numbers are not specified, colors will be matched as close as possible to what is displayed on our screen. Any disparities in color cannot be corrected or reimbursed if pantone numbers aren't specified.
  • Artwork is the responsibility of the customer. Derisory Designs Inc. is not responsible for any printing errors due to misspellings, incorrect sizing, wrong artwork or unspecified colors.
  • Copyright permission is the responsibility of the customer. Derisory Designs, Inc. takes no responsibility for the reproduction of work that has not had all proper licensing and copyright requirements met.

Process/Simulated Process Printing

  • Process and simulated process printing is a printing process used on jobs that require more ink colors than we can print in spot colors. This process will blend multiple colors together to try and achieve the many colors needed for a job that requires it. This can create color shifts and imperfect color matching on these types of jobs, although best efforts will be made to match colors.
  • If a customer's job requires process or simulated process printing, they will be alerted to this fact by Derisory Designs Inc., which will thus relieve Derisory Designs Inc. of responsibility for exact color matching.

Print Sizes

  • While print size must be specified by customer, Derisory Designs Inc. will alert the customer to any problems that could arise as the result of artwork that is too large for a specific sized shirt. If a customer decides to proceed, Derisory Designs Inc. will not be responsible for printing imperfections that occur around seams, collars, pockets, buttons and zippers.
  • Art will be printed at the same size on all sized garments. If different sized prints for different garments are required, each sized print will be billed as a separate job requiring all minimums, pricing and artwork requirements for each.
  • While specific placement can be requested for designs, Derisory Designs Inc. cannot guarantee exact placement on every shirt. As sizing and manufacturing variances creates disparities in the printable area, designs that fall within 1” of specified placement will not be considered a misprint.

Changes to Order After Payment

  • Any changes to an order after deposit has been received will result in a delay of order, even if a rush fee has been paid for, and may incur additional costs as needed.

Cancellations & Restocking Fees

  • Cancellations made after an order has been placed will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. If an order is canceled by the client after it has been printed, no refund of the deposit will be given.

Shipping/ Delivery/ Pickup

  • Customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including insurance. If insurance is required, please specify when placing the order. Our default shipping method is UPS ground service. Other shipping methods may be used, if requested before the order ships. Tracking numbers are supplied only when requested.
  • Derisory Designs is not responsible for any shipping delays or damage to product caused by the carrier. Items are packaged in accordance with our in house packing standards. If specialty packaging is required, clients must specify this when the order is placed and additional fees may apply.
  • Delivery by Derisory Designs Inc is free within the Philadelphia city limits. Any Delivery service requested outside of the Philadelphia city limits will be subject to a delivery fee commensurate with distance and travel time.
  • You may pick up your order at Derisory Designs Inc. 1627 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122 Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. You must call 267-258-8084 to schedule a pick up before arriving.

Spoilage

  • Due to the nature of this business, Derisory Designs Inc. will not be responsible for spoilage up to 5% per design. Cost of any items shorted from your order will be refunded but we will not process a reprint for less than 5% of your order.
  • Any order subject to spoilage can be replaced by a similarly printed shirt of a different size or, in the case of multiple designs being ordered, a similarly sized shirt in a different design. This may be applied to up to 5% of your order and will result in no refund for spoiled product.

Returned Check

  • There will be a $35 returned check fee.

Quotes/Pricing

  • Derisory Designs Inc. has the right to change prices without notice. Written quotations are valid for 15 days. After 15 days a new quote should be requested by the customer.

Merchandise

  • Derisory Designs Inc. is not responsible for variances in construction, size or shade of garments or merchandise.

Reprints and Refunds

  • Any order incorrectly printed by Derisory Designs Inc will be reprinted. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of delivery date.
  • Any order that is to be reprinted will not begin until we receive the defective merchandise from the customer and Derisory Designs Inc. will only reprint what is returned.
  • We are not responsible for customer supplied variables such as unspecified pantone colors, unspecified sizing requirements, misspelled text or incorrect artwork.

By proceeding with your order and submitting a down payment, you are agreeing to abide by the Terms and Conditions submitted by Derisory Designs, Inc.
